One morning, a body wakes up unrecognizable. Not metaphorically. Just — unrecognizable. And the world around it responds accordingly.
Metamorphosis is a fully devised physical theatre production anchored in Kafka's The Metamorphosis — investigating what happens when the body stops conforming to the norms that have always defined it. The transformed body is not the problem. The social structures that refuse to accommodate it are.
Performed during Pride Month, because some bodies have always known exactly what that means.
Before the show, step into the Transformation Gallery — a queer photographer, transformation stations, and your own before and after portrait printed and hung on the wall. Come as you are. Transform as much or as little as you want. Watch the wall fill up with a community's worth of Pride Month reinvention.
