Corinne M Mason, Founder & Director
(She/Her/Hers) Corinne M. Mason is a professional director, choreographer, and teaching artist. She received her Master’s Degree in Theatre Education, from Emerson College, and a B.F.A. from The New School University. She also holds a Certificate in Musical Theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Corinne has taught performing arts, directed, and choreographed with several companies, including Lyric Stage Company, Stonehill College, Wellesley Summer Theatre, The Company Theatre, MMASBlackBox, Cambridge Youth Dance Program, and North Cambridge Family Opera. Currently, Corinne serves as a Theatre Faculty Professor, at Massasoit Community College. At the college, she teaches Choreography, Dance, Dramatic Literature, Movement for Acting, and Design for the Theatre. She also serves as advisor for The Practical Theatre Ensemble, which focuses on the practical application of theatre studies into rehearsal practice.
Corinne is passionate about the development of new plays and the art of collaborative creation. She believes theatre has the potential to promote empathy, understanding, open dialogue, and reflection for both participants and audiences alike, and strives to infuse these values in every project she takes on. Over the past few years she has directed and choreographed several original productions including, The Werewolves (Manhattan Repertory Theatre), Les Nuls (Artists from Suburbia), Trial of Madeline Gee, Eris’ Chain (Massasoit Theatre Company), Winter People, Queen of Sad Mischance, Autumn Cross, and We Will Not Describe the Conversation (New Works Play Festival).

Brendan C. Cawley, Facilitating Artist
(he/him/his) Brendan Cawley is a professional director, choreographer, and teaching artist. He received his Master’s Degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College and is earning his second graduate degree, an MFA also from Emerson, and a BA in Communication from Curry College. Brendan is a performing arts educator working at Maria Weston Chapman Middle School in Weymouth and has performed, directed, and choreographed with several companies, such as The Company Theatre, Riverside Theater Works, Norwood High School, Kids Together in the Arts, and Massasoit Community Theater. He teaches Introduction to Theatrical Arts, Costuming, and Acting classes for WPS. He runs the MWC Musical Club, servicing over 120+ students yearly with an eye on equity, diversity, and inclusive theater practices. He was nominated in 2022 for the Excellence in Theater Education, a TONY award.
Brendan is driven by the desire to give students and young artists access to the arts safely and ethically, highlighting the talent and utilizing inclusive practices to ensure that students can feel free to express themselves and learn the arts without the fear of judgement or access to prior theater opportunities acting as a barrier to participation. He was cast at age 5 in an educational theatre program. He has continued performing in various groups, ensembles, and events while achieving academic success and tenure in the public education system. Some favorite directing projects include Legally Blonde, R&H Cinderella, Beetlejuice, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, and Charlie Brown Christmas. His students have gone on to realize their dreams of performing all over the US and abroad, and he is thrilled to be a Co-Lab member.

Nicky Carbone, Production Manager
(they/them/she/her) Past credits include work as an Equity Stage Manager in the greater Boston theatre region with over a dozen productions at Wheelock Family Theatre, Lyric Stage Company, Moonbox Productions, and Reagle Music Theatre. In addition Nicky has worked as a technical director with the Canton Public School System and the Canton Community Theatre, as well as working as a stage management mentor and trainer with Massasoit Community College’s student ensemble program.

Alex Moon, Playwright in Residence
(she/her/hers/they/them) Alex Moon is a Trans-Nonbinary artist, composer, and translator who’s worked with organizations such as The American Repertory Theatre; Ensemble Studio Theatre; Speakeasy Stage Co; Boston University; Aquila Theatre Company, The Tank, Theatre Collaborative, and more. Recently, she directed the Edinburgh Fringe production of “Worm Teeth” by Kelsey Sullivan, her short play ”Bugs” was a winner of the 47th Annual Off-Off Broadway Festival, and her full-length play “G-Town',' was a finalist for the 202 & 2024 Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. As a translator, her editions of the Homeric Hymns to Dionysus will be featured in the forthcoming issue of Persephone: The Harvard Undergraduate Classics Journal. They are a member of New York University’s class of 2022 double majoring in Dramatic Writing and Classics, having trained as well with Frantic Assembly and One Year Lease’s Apprentice Program in Papingo, Greece.

Keion Jevon, Videographer
(he/him/his) Keion Jevon is 31 year old actor/creator from Stoughton, MA and a 2019 Massasoit Community College alumni. over the span of years Keion has involved himself in numerous theatre productions & film productions. he began officially showcasing his talents by being behind the soundboard for Eris's Chain in 2016, then moved toward being on the stage making his debut as Walter Lee Younger in Raisin In The Sun. he recently alongside his frequent collaborator/cousin Khaleel Mandel contributed to the original soundtrack of 2023's modern adaptation of Shakespeare's Othello, and he recently had a 2nd live screening of a film he was apart of titled "Love Is Phony" directed by Shadrach Akoi. Keion is considered as "a person with many hands" he is able to have a hand in making music, a hand in being on stage as an actor, and a hand in videography editing. he is an owner of his local brand titled "DUCKJVON" where he has a clothing line and a page where he showcases his video editing skills. so you can say, Keion enjoys being involved with something he loves some how, some way...just like the Jay Z song.

Steven Harrington, Lighting and Production
(he/him/his) Mr. Harrington has a depth of experience in multiple aspects of theater Design Including Sound, Lighting and Electrics. Mr. Harrington spent 2 years at Massasoit working closely with Corinne Mason on a variety of projects including as Lighting Designer for the Trial of Madeline Gee in 2017 and later for Eurydice in 2022. After Massasoit Mr. Harrington went on to receive a BA in Theater from UMass Lowell where he worked as a designer and technician on Multiple Projects. Mr Harrington is currently the Technical Director for Westwood High School. (Resume and Extended Credits Available Upon Request)

Magdalene Bastarache, Lab Artist
(she/her/hers) Maggie is a Middleboro based actress and has been performing in since high school. She is a recent graduate of Massasoit Community College, with Business Administration and Theatre Arts degrees. Some of her favorite roles include Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, Big Stone/Father in Eurydice, and Jo March in Little Women. She’d like to thank her family for their years of support and her friends for pushing her to continue performing on the stage.

Natasha Dias, Lab Artist
(She/Her/Hers) Natasha Dias is a current student at Massasoit majoring in Theatre. Since when she was 12 years old, Natasha has been passionate about theatre and arts. Natasha hopes the future will treat her well and to become an actress, director and a playwright. She is looking forward to a new beginning and expand her theatrical knowledge. Natasha expects to continue working in theatre after graduating, and change the world through the arts.

Sabrina Nedder, Lab Artist
(she/her/hers) Sabrina Nedder is a Boston-based actress, dancer, and teaching artist. She received her Associates Degree in Theatre Arts from Massasoit Community College and is continuing her education with the goal of attaining a BFA in Theatre Arts at Salem State University. She has also completed 10 years of training at the Summer Stage Theatre Program. Sabrina has performed for over 20 years and has worked with various companies including Massasoit Theatre Company, Summer Stage Theatre, and Bay Colony Performing Arts. She has taught and directed at the Summer Stage Theatre Company for six years and has directed several one-act plays. Currently, she is continuing her teaching and directing work at Summer Stage Theatre Company.

Lauren Vanderwater, Lab Artist
(she/her/hers) Lauren Vanderwater is a life long performer, who is always looking for new ways to grow her creative inventory. She is an artist that strives to bring people together through her art by starting conversations, and engaging the audience to try and make them feel like they are more than just observers. Through this mission, Lauren hopes to use her knowledge of movement and body language to help educate and inform others of the great importance that is knowing and learning the body, and why it is so impactful and necessary when it comes to performance.

Theophile Victoria, Lab Artist
(He/Him/His) Theo is a versatile performer and choreographer who creates work from a core belief. Hip-Hop is the universal solvent to American art culture. He is a recent graduate from Salem State University where he completed a B.A. in Dance with a Theatre minor and a Hip-Hop concentration (one of the rarest concentrations in the country). Theo currently dances with Project31 and has performed all over New England including at the Bates Dance Festival. Overall, this performer and leader loves to work in community centric environment where each one, can teach one.
