Fear is not just a feeling. It lives in the body before it reaches the mind.
Horror Lab is a devised performance showcase built from the inside out: thirteen original pieces created through an ensemble research process that asks what happens when artists stop performing fear and start inhabiting it. Using the emBODY Performance Method, the ensemble investigated fear states, body signatures, and the physical grammar of dread, suspense, and the uncanny. What you'll see on stage is not a haunted house. It is the result of rigorous, consent-forward artistic inquiry into what horror, as a genre, has always known: the body keeps the score.
Arrive early. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and guests are welcomed into our Victorian parlor to browse a curated vendor market, enjoy complimentary tea and snacks, and settle into the atmosphere before the work begins.
Horror Lab is an interactive performance. Each guest receives a consent napkin at the door to signal their comfort level with participation at any point during the show. Your boundaries are respected. Your presence is enough.
Discounted tickets are available for students, seniors (65+), and folx with EBT/SNAP benefits. Valid confirmation required at the door.
Come ready to be unsettled. Come ready to think.
