What happens when the devil doesn't need to seduce you, because the world already has? FAUST: Pacts, Power, and Embodied Desire drops the sulfur and keeps the structure. A genius. A weapon. A contract with something that speaks the language of institutions. emBODY Project Theatre's ensemble adaptation of the Faust myth investigates the specific American hunger to be equal to the force pulling the strings, built through original movement, ensemble ritual, and a cast of voices that live both inside and around our protagonist.
